Healthy Bride Wedding Planning By Celebrity Wedding Officiator Dr. Linda & Certified Nutritionist Donna Schuller

www.facebook.com/legallymarried
October 3, 2013 - United States - A True Wedding Story  - It was about 9 p.m.. Lisa, a bride-to-be, and Dr. Linda were to go over wedding ceremony details via telephone.  Lisa answered her cell-phone, almost as if out-of-breath, her exhaustion ruminated. "How are you Lisa", said Dr. Linda....Lisa answered, "I am exhausted... So tired, even if I get sleep, my engine is running low!"  Dear reader, Lisa is not the only bride on the verge of collapse! The tired state of a bride is a common theme in the "getting married" community. Work and school and wedding planning, or "just life" and wedding planning has deleterious effects on even the "good-natured" and "well-healthed" engaged woman. From "What colour lipstick, nail and toe polish should I wear?" to "I want you to be my wedding officiator, Dr. Linda", the research, going here and there, and the decision making aligned with the over-all wedding planning is physically debilitating. As a bride "treads water" or "wades" through the planning process, she becomes simply beat! So, if a common problem, why don't we see more about this?

The Healthy Bride Regime - A Bride's Calendar Days Should Include Some Smart Health Planning Too - Bride Lisa Needed That Kind Of Rescuing And Right Away!

I think, in all of living, as in planning a wedding, the "becoming healthy or keeping healthy" is not something that is practiced overall. Personally, I have studied Naturopathic Medicine for over 25 years. In basic terms, this is the study of encouraging the human body's own ability to repair or to continue in a healthier state.  Lisa, my bridal client, needed this kind of help, and now! What bride-to-be doesn't want lovely skin on her wedding day, or whiter teeth or.....?  It is a fact, when in physical pain or discomfort, a person does not enjoy their day in the same way, as when pain-free! And, every bride should enjoy their wedding planning and their wedding day.

In starting with the "pillar of the wedding planning endeavour", the bride..... May I introduce to you..... Nutritionist Donna Schuller. In our newest edition, Donna, as a Health & Wellness expert, will bring "Healthy Bride Wedding Planning" tips to our Wedding Social Network. She has been a bride, mother of two brides and of the groom (one more son to go!), also is a wellness coach -  This is a perfect combination of experience and learning!

Here is Donna's first contribution: Certified Nutritionist Donna Schuller

"I've been a parent at three of my four grown children's weddings so far.  I have been married for almost twenty-nine years.  I know from experience that when you're planning a wedding there's a lot to consider. Starting with yourself and your spouse-to-be.  Are you on the 'same page' when it comes to body, mind, soul health?  Do you have similarly aligned goals and aspirations for the future?  Is your spiritual life active and do you agree on how to raise a family when it comes to religious teachings?  Do you take care of your physical body by exercising regularly and do you agree most of the time on healthy food choices?  Are you carrying any heavy 'baggage' into the relationship as it pertains to unresolved issues with your family-of-origin?  Remember: what doesn't get worked out gets acted out.
Although as the saying goes, "opposites attract", it is important that you are not opposite when it comes to issues regarding your overall health.   Make sure that you are both committed in achieving and maintaining health in all three areas of your person before you tie the knot.   Remember that the person you marry is the person you get!  You can do very little to change them so start aligning yourselves for total body, mind, soul health before the big day.  The great news is this:  you have come to this website to gain knowledge and insight so that your future together can be all that you want it to be. Congratulations!"

"Recently, after my Bravo T.V. wedding ceremony for The Reality Show - The Real Housewives of Orange County Tamra & EddieI received a number of compliments regarding the kindness and grace in my voice and in my deportment. Also, that these traits are not ones manufactured. The command of the wedding ceremony showed knowledge and experience. Wedding or Celebrations Manners, along with acquired knowledge and experience are more much more than "have to", they are public expressions of what a person values, and who they are or want to become. As to "healthy living", my physical stamina in my work as a Celebrity Wedding Officiator is due to the healthy body, mind and spirit choices that I have made every day for decades.

Wedding Bell Blues Isn’t Her Something Blue – By Dr. Linda Wainwright Trott – Celebrity Wedding Officiator

Between Adoring Love & Frustrated Lament
This Singer Fluctuated

United States – September 26, 2013 - “Bill, I love you so, I always will…..through your compassion eyes of gray…” It was the 1960’s, and these words, strikingly belted out by songstress Marilyn McCoo, climbed to the top of the music charts.  “Am I ever going to see my wedding day…Oh, come on Bill!”   Back in that day, bopping along, either singing or humming during class changes throughout high school hallways every where, were young starry – eyed girls. From the Ed Sullivan show, and then into countless wedding chapels, this was to become every bride’s song -"Kisses and love won't carry me til you marry me Bill"…. The song title Wedding Bell Blues”.

“The 5th Dimension” (a musical group), recorded “Wedding Bell Blues” (1969) when band members Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis Jr. were engaged. So, the "Marry me Bill" theme was certainly true to life. But, Davis isn't the song’s real "Bill." This music was written by 18 year old Laura Nyro. So, who was “Bill”? It was "Bill Carter," an actor who was having an affair with the jazz singer Helen Merrill.  Laura Nyro was related to Ms. Merrill by marriage.

Note: The Younger reader might remember the Wedding Bell Blues version of Jayma Mays, and her character Emma Pillsbury on the FOX television show Glee in the song's featured episode “Yes/No”.

But, Long Before 1969, Women Talked About “Blue” Too

Hundreds of years separate the 1969’s “Wedding Bell Blues” bitter- sweet saga from the tender symbolism of an English woman’s “Wedding Bell Blue”.  Not related at all, is one “blue” to another “blue”.  With the English custom of “Something Blue” are its companions “Old, New, Borrowed, and A Sixpence in the Bride’s Shoe.”(“Sixpence” is an old form of British coinage). - Each selected item has its succinctly punctuated wedding symbolisms.

This bridal tradition of “Something Blue” comes from an Old English rhyme ("Something Olde, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue, A Sixpence in your Shoe").  Each “Something” is an object added to the wedding outfit or, to be carried with the bride as wedding day good luck charms.  Something old represents continuity; something new offers optimism for the future; something borrowed emblems borrowed happiness; something blue stands for purity, love, and fidelity; and a sixpence in your shoe is a wish for good fortune and prosperity.

Into Your Wedding?

For some brides, a bit of history rings genuine. - Whether, due to ethnic identification or fascination, or resultant of family tradition. Showing off your sentimental choices is something that brides or their mothers do not often think about. As a bride what is significant to you, and why, is not always noted by wedding day others. But, do announce the traditions, as guest may find added enjoyment in your selection of meaningful things, such as “Something Blue”.  It will educate, make it interesting, give them something to discuss with others, and by “passing it on” bring added value to another’s future wedding planning.

Award Winning Photographer, Leslie adds her idea, "While 'something blue' is typically interpreted as a lace hankie, piece of jewelry, or a family heirloom, this stunning bride, Kelly, made 'something blue' her gown. Not for everyone to be sure, but it matched her sapphire wedding ring and beautiful blue eyes. "  www.ClickChicksPhotography.com

Wedding Ceremony GPS Required......

 The Wedding Ceremony Temperament Series

By Dr. Linda Wainwright Trott
(Celebrity Wedding Officiator)

Identifying The Faux From The Genuine

“Say What?”

At a recent wedding professionals’ event, several Event Planners joked about one of the local Wedding Officiators attending that night. “He’s such a fake”, was one of the assessments. Not to mention braggart, and a few other choice descriptions. They weren’t fooled, and they did not recommend that person’s services.   Also, at the same party, several other Wedding Planners were chatting about their mutual removal of a few local Wedding Officiators from their respective Wedding Venue referral lists.

But, You Are A Bride – How Are You Supposed To Know
Who Is The Genuine Article?

For the marrying couple, how do they navigate the crowd of novice or illegitimate “Wedding Officiators”?  Frankly, this is a chore that they should not need to engage. Oh, for the good ole days, when this title and the role were admired, and the aspiring officiator had to pay their dues.  There were real societal expectations, including stringent given training requirements. But, with the Internet, anyone, and I mean anyone can become an officiator.  Thus the beginning of this series on, “Wedding Ceremony GPS Required”.  I can do this because, I am a genuine career Wedding Officiator with multiple academic degrees, a professor of officiators, and probably the most experienced in the Southern California area. There is nothing “faux” about the years, effort and money invested in my officiator education!

A Good Information Series, like this one,
 A Wedding Ceremony GPS

There is a lot to talk about, so more series articles to come.  Not in any particular order, this is just one of the things a bride should rally around when starting the officiator selection process.

Let’s Start You Off In The Right Direction –
Turning on The Wedding Ceremony GPS

1.  Be concerned if a prospective Wedding Officiator is not asking you to explain your vision of your wedding ceremony.  He or She should be asking you to define the words and ideas being stated.

For Example:

“I am Spiritual” said the bride to the Wedding Officiator.”

As a University trained Wedding Officiator, I should be thinking….. O.K., really, what does it mean to her to be spiritual?  If the officiator doesn’t ask for “spiritual” to be explained, or perhaps, define it, it means they are disinterested.  Or, that they simply don’t care. Or, they think they know what you mean.  Or, they just don’t want to spend the time crafting ceremony wording which has the couple’s “personal meaning” in mind.  “Spiritual” is not a simple thing, and it needs to be parsed.

Conclusion:   As a Professional Wedding Officiator, I ask the bride and groom to define words and ideas.  Before, they have even booked my services, I see the “persons”, not the “dollar signs”.  Asking for explanations, it is how I navigate what to suggest.  It is how I prove my interest in them.  It is how I show them that I am skilled in what they need.

Wedding Ceremony Customs - Making Old "Getting Married" Wedding Traditions New By Celebrity Wedding Officiator Dr. Linda

Making Old Wedding Ceremony Customs New!
Tying the Knot The Modern Way!

             United States Of America

National Wedding Ceremony Writers And Marriage Officiators - Southern California (Revised Sept 18th 2013)

As Professional Wedding Officiants and Marriage Ceremony Writers we know how to make old marriage customs new. Modern versions of "The Fisherman's Knot" have been custom written by our Wedding Ceremony Writers. Whether, with emphasis on the "qualities" of the knot, or, with regard to the "history", there are a number of ways to nicely explain the reason for which a couple is beginning or concluding their marriage vows with this tradition. What if the knot(s) are not of cord? What if it's symbolism is promoted through a  jewelry piece, added to every year on the wedding anniversary? What if the knot is found in an art piece which is added to with the every year celebration of the marriage? What if the knot is made from the fabric of "something old and familial or historical" - maybe even the covering of the cord, a swatch from your grandmother's wedding dress? Or, "Old, Borrowed and Blue"? What if the knot, is not a knot, but words of an original poem using the symbolism of a knot, as related to marriage? And, then the poem is framed with something knotted in a shadow box. - that box to hang in your home. Or, what if the knot is glass, metal or porcelain that has been twisted into the shape of a vase? Or, what if the knot is depicted with ribbons and the intertwining of flowers in the bridal bouquet? There is more!

Finally, even down to "who" participates, and the "colours" of the knot, a modern rendition is as interesting as a couple wishes to make it. That is to say, with the professional help of www.theclergynetwork.com  writing staff.  Let us write all or part of your marriage ceremony today.

Child Sitcom Star Married By The Clergy Network Wedding Officiators - Orange County California

Anaheim, Ca - November - December - 1970's Child Star recently married by a Clergy Network wedding officiator - The ceremony was custom written, and presided in a garden chapel and reception center in California. We can't tell you his name, out of courteous to his privacy... but, we can say that he appeared on CHIPS, sang with someone from the original "rat pack", along with his sitcom run. We enjoyed working with this former child star actor, as he was a polite ceremony interested groom, pleased with celebrity wedding officiator, Dr. Linda's custom written marriage ceremony wording and his personally selected TCN wedding officiator!
