Starbucks Wedding Ceremony - "In the Presence of These Baristas, I Now Pronounce You Husband and Wife!" By Celebrity Wedding Officiator Dr. Linda

Grandma, Grandpa & Their Starbucks Wedding

A Story Only Hours Old

What Kind Of Celebrity Wedding Officiator Weds A Couple In A California Starbucks?

A wedding officiator can be interesting. Along with skill and experience, perhaps, a little “free spirited” tempered by dedication and discipline. After all “free spirit” makes him or her creative, and the discipline makes them reliable.  With a “flexible” soul, a good officiator would preside the most quirky to the most predictably practical ceremony themes. And, that is exactly the type that one looks for when you are a grandmother and grandfather eloping to Starbucks.

Today, the same Celebrity Wedding Officiator, whose co-officiator was once actor Rob Lowe, dashed off to the Orange County Clerk to pick up a marriage license.  And, from there, then off to a local Southern California Starbucks. Dr. Brian waited to meet a very much in a hurry grandmother bride and a grandfather groom. For this celebrity officiator, this was not his first Starbucks’ wedding.  This grandmother bride, taking a short absence from her pregnant daughter-in-law’s bedside, was not at Starbucks for a frappuccino! All she wanted to hear was “I Do” and “I now pronounce that you husband and wife….!” Perhaps, this couple would not have chosen a Starbucks in which to marry, but “Life Happened”!  With a daughter-in-law’s delicate pregnancy, simple but profound was the order. None-the-less, our celebrity officiator found himself marrying a very appreciative couple. They didn’t plan their wedding for a year. No, they didn’t spend thousands of dollars, but, their chosen priority to be married before the grand baby arrived, meant more.  So, in this crowded Starbucks, to grandma and grandpa, a moment so private, that they didn’t even kiss in the presence of coffee drinking strangers.  It was a sacred but brief ceremony at Starbucks for these two, and our officiator treated it with the love and respect it deserved.  Soon, this couple will be helping to change lots of diapers, but as a married grandmother and grandfather!

Let's Start A Fun Discussion With A Celebrity Wedding Officiators

If you were planning a Starbucks Wedding how would you decorate? What would you wear? Who would be your witnesses? What music would be played? Get Creative With Dr. Linda

Want a Starbucks wedding ceremony on a lunch break?  Going into the hospital for a serious surgery, but want to be wed first?  Or, like this couple, wanting to be married before the baby or grand baby is born? Call us at LegallyMarried & The Clergy Network.  Perhaps the same wedding officiator who presided The Real Housewives of Orange County Bravo T.V. wedding or issued Lakers Cobi Bryant’s marriage license will be the one saying, “In the presence of these Baristas, I now pronounce you husband and wife!” info@theclergynetwork.com - www.facebook.com/legallymarried - www.pinterest.com/livingfestive - www.twitter.com/legallymarried

Getting Married In Today's "Me" Community? Will Mandatory Pre-Marital Counseling Save Our Culture? By Celebrity Wedding Officiant Dr. Linda

An Article about Marriage Promise Making & Keeping!

By Celebrity Wedding Officiator, Dr. Linda - www.facebook.com/legallymarried

Dear Bride or Groom, if the title of the article makes you hesitant to read on, don’t worry, “Me” can be a good or bad thing.  In your impending marriage, it is your choice as to the kind of “Me” you wish to be! Pre-Marital Counseling……What about it?  Well, you might be an advocate of “Pre-Marital” counseling as it could reinforce the “green light” towards marriage. Maybe, you’re staunchly against “Pre-Marital” counseling, especially if it leads to breaking up. Besides, it is just downright plain nosey and useless!  At this article’s start, know that the government just might think they need to help you “see the light”! Let’s face it, with consequences having actions, all people make stellar or ignorant or innocent or disastrous choices. Some conclusions are foreseen, while others unforeseen.

Let’s be more specific! Do you learn from your mistakes?  Perhaps, you possess the foresight to “obey” that nagging hunch?  As it stands now, American societal norms are complicated, unpredictable or hazily decipherable at best. On the dark side, however, somewhat “twisted”! Quite possibly, there is a remnant wanting to believe the best about others, but, history has repeated itself! This can be a sad state of affairs. As it applies to “getting married”, a person the wiser might secretly hire a private detective to “check out” their intended!  And, don’t forget the “Pre-Nuptial Agreement”!  Who is this person that you are marrying anyway?  With the predominant divorce rate, cited by newscasters, at 60 percent, where do we go next?

Does The Government Really Think That It Is Helping
Marrying Couples? You Decide!

Realistically, at some point the marital mishaps of so many couples do affect the innocent, the unsuspecting and the unwilling others. Note, a reported divorce rate of 60 percent is no small number! Included in the sizable grouping of affected “others” are the Federal, State and Local governments.  So, yes, who you marry does become the business of others!

So what is the government doing to combat the assault? There are the governmental committees or studies on “Marriage”, special publications, even “Covenantal” marriage licenses. In Colorado, there is the suggested legislation which will mandate “Pre-Marital” counseling for all wishing to wed. No marriage license for you, until you make the effort to learn about successful marriage! Behind this, is the idea that knowledge about a thing invokes right decision making.  But, does it always?  And, could obligatory “Pre-Marital” counseling become a state to state trend?

About The Proposed Colorado Obligatory
Pre-Marital Counseling Idea

The Colorado law would require 10 “Pre-Marital” counseling sessions for the first time marrying. To the “second-timers” there are 20 mandated “Pre-Marital” sessions. Lastly, to those wedding for a third or more times, there is the required series of 30 Pre-Marital” sessions. So, how is this idea faring with people of the marrying variety?

Generally speaking, the purest proponent of “Pre-Marital” counseling firmly believes it to be an ideologically good move. It also has is practical advantages.  Some suggesting that access to this kind of expert knowledge gives a couple the powers to confirm their choice of marital partner. An informed assurance brought by learning outside subjective feelings and affections.  But, also supported by right affections too! After all, is this not the most important decision in life? Singularly powerful in its ability to bless or burden others?   Pre-empting divorce and related heartache has it evident positives. Especially in a “Marriage Friendly” counseling atmosphere, whereby a couple is free to talk about things. Beyond this, when couples hash out the “red flags” before walking the altar, this saves the courts time and money with the lessening casualties of divorce.

For the opposed,Stay out of my business!”!  Some just prefer limited government intrusion. Other disagreements are by virtue of the principle which promotes living life on each individual’s own terms.  Then, there is the four times married news commentator hating the idea, just because she claims to already have learned from her past mistakes. Even if a couple is amenable to “Pre-Marital” counseling, they may detest state mandated sessions. Rejected is the “Good-Guy” disguise of the government, with their real intention to make money or to control! Don’t forget the resultant “Pre-Marital” cottage industry. The smell of “money in the making” can be much like “blood in the water” to the hungry shark. In this case, of course these players would be for state mandated “Pre-Marital” counseling!

Bride & Groom – The Unspoken Things A Wedding Professional May Not Say To You? – Some Thought From Dr. Linda

A horse with blinders, only views what is in the foreground.  Moved by its rider’s signaling, what the equine does not see is still there!  Wedding service providers share thoughts about their marrying couples.  Plenty have predicted what couple will or won’t make it!  A wedding vendor is without the blinders of “getting married bliss”, and can call it rightly. If emotionally fettered couples could only see what is clearly visible to these unfettered, what then?

I am a Wedding Officiator, Educator, Writer & Professor.  Admittedly, my background in human behavior is a plus when working with couples setting their sights on settling down for life. Let me share with you what I know.  Firstly, a bride’s or groom’s marriage vows shout “This will last!” or, “This is doomed from the start”!  Not just in what they say, but through what they don’t say! Not only in their completed vows wording, but during their collecting of words. Then, there is the wedding ceremony planning meeting. - If the groom accompanies the bride willingly, that is positive. If the groom and bride agree on most ceremony matters, that can be a good sign. If the groom is right in there asking for help “saying it in the best manner!” this shows interest and character.  On the wedding day, if bride or groom is drunken out-of-their mind, numbing them from the true joys of the monumental moment… then?  And so forth.

Finally, now that you know, that we know, perhaps a second or third or fourth educated and experienced hand will put you happily on to your marriage journeying? Certainly, learning about successful marriage is a smart and beneficial idea! Despite popular opinion, studies seem to indicate that living together before marriage is not the glowing determiner of one’s choice for a life-long companion.  Ask anyone on their 5th or 6th  “live – in housemate”!  Situating yourself for life, as a person of pleasant character and remaining willing to learn through love’s tough or tender fixes is something for which to aspire.  Fore go the excessive computer gaming or shopping or attending of sports rallies. Side on the “better odds”, reconfiguring the time before playing “Here Comes The Bride” to the preparation needed for “marriage blissful”!  “Pre-Marital” counseling, coupled with other taken-to-heart learning opportunities, can be wholly advantageous. Even before becoming engaged, inspire the lifelong mindset which allows the refresher learning already known to the couple celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.  Happy Pre-Marital Counseling!

On-Lookers Thought Wedding Officiator Was Kidnapped! - A True Wedding Story by Celebrity Wedding Officiator, Dr. Linda

Look Out - This “Will Call” Is The “No Show” That Sparks Wedzilla Rage!

September 11, 2013 - United States – Celebrity Wedding Officiator, Dr. Linda

It is the Los Angeles concert of the century, and, there at the “Will Call”, a front row ticket miraculously comes available! You jump for joy, because you want it.  And, you will pay anything for the seat!  A little like that time, when waiting “on stand-by”, a first class airplane seat was released to you! Remember the jubilation as you chuckled all the way to the best seat in the house! These examples are both chance and choice opportunities.  But, what about that “Wedding Will Call” that ends with a “No Show”?

For 24 years, these “No Show” calls have migrated towards us. With the unsavory economy, it seems worse.  In my experience is the panicked voice of a bride, saying, “My officiator is not returning my calls, and I get married tomorrow! Help!” Also, in my recollection is the hotel catering manager and her 5 couples, each one stood up on their respective wedding days!  And, here is a intriguing one….

Convincingly Nabbed by Wedding Guests - To On-lookers, It appeared Like He Was Being Kidnapped!

As the true story goes… A Clergy Network and LegallyMarried wedding officiator just officiated his wedding ceremony. This officiator was the “real deal”, with about 4 years of legitimate college study and practical training as a clergy.  Dr. Linda, (Celebrity Wedding Officiator), actually was his college “Public Speech” professor. In any event, this joyful ceremonial occasion was conducted on the lawn bowl, near the Heisler Park Gazebo in Laguna Beach, Ca. All went well, and as the marriage officiant walked to his car, he was frantically approached. Those descending on him were so frantic and persuasive, that the incidence might have been misconstrued as a “kidnapping!”  Almost like an in-unison chant, the forceful crowd screamed, “We just saw you marry those people….Come quickly our wedding guy didn’t show up!” Now, with the puzzle-pieces in place, our Clergy Network & LegallyMarried wedding officiator was seeing the picture. And, with his usual calming influence, agreed to step-in for the “missing officiator guy (As they put it)!”   In this “Happily –Ever-After”, it worked out best for the jilted marrying couple, as our wedding officiator didn’t charge them a thin dime! Best of all, according to the bride and groom, our ceremony wording was much nicer, and, they liked our wedding guy better!

Even With A “No Shows”, There Can Be The Start of “Happily –Ever-After”

Finally, this is one of many wedding rescue stories from Dr. Linda and The Clergy Network. For over 2 decades, we are honoured to be at the start of many a couple’s “Happily – Ever- After”.  When the engaged finds us, even after a horrible “jilting” ordeal, they think themselves lucky! - Lucky, because they were not stranded without someone to “Tie – The – Knot”. – The Clergy Network is set up with an “Emergency Backup presence on any given weekend. - Lucky, because, our officiants and ceremony words are far superior to the couple’s original choice.

“Happily –Ever- After”

A Posh Orange County Hotel Keeps Our Telephone Number Programmed In Catering's Phone

Call a bride and groom marrying in Southern California, and suggest that they be “contracted” with The Clergy Network Wedding Officiator.  Most likely, the wedding couple will not have a “contract” with an experienced officiator.  In fact, they probably won’t have one at all!  And, if they do, there will be no written guarantee of “Emergency Backup” in the event of injury, illness or death of their promised officiator. With that said, ask them to call us anyway.  At least, if they continue with their original marriage officiator choice, they will be “asleep with their eyes open”!  And, most importantly, because, like the Laguna Beach bride and groom of our story, they too might need us in a pinch! …..Tell the marrying couple to programme our Emergency Wedding Officiator telephone number in their phones. For this, on the wedding day, they might thank you! (C2013Dr.L)

Terry's Sad Wedding Story - The Bride Cried And Cried And Cried! - He Was a Fake And He Ruined My Special Day!

Wedding Day Ruined
July 21, 2013Terry was usually a discriminating Southern California bride, but selected her Wedding Officiant without discerning interest. She decided without research,  "He is available and cheap, great, let's book him!" Her story is especially troublesome, in that it is a true - Terry, made a careless choice, and sadly, joined the ranks of a growing number of wedding ceremony nightmare stories.  After the fact, hearing that The Clergy Network of Southern California offered the only legitimately peer reviewed, experientially and academically refined officiators' group in Southern California, Terry contacted us.  "Help me", Terry said. "What do I do, he ruined my ceremony with bad jokes and didn't even file my marriage license yet! What recourse do I have?"  Terry, didn't know where to report a Wedding Clergy or Wedding Officiator concern in California. And, she didn't like our answer!

A Wedding Professional Asks Dr. Linda

"What is Up With The Influx of
Inexperienced & Untrained Wedding
Officiators In Southern California?"

So, you think, don't Wedding Officiators go through a peer review and training process... right? The answer,  "Wrong, not typically now. But, back in the day, yes! Now, it is over to the consumer to educate their own self, and without the old assumption that a Wedding Officiator is a Professional in the same way as any other professional. Locating those officiators still legitimately trained is essential. Back to poor Terry.... There was no one to help her, she had ruined her own wedding day by not doing her research and by making assumptions. But, how much is really Terry's fault, after all just about anyone can become a Wedding Officiator in California! And, the only peer review with the "Faux" Wedding Officiators is their on-line ordination providers billing of the yearly "officiator membership dues!

Southern California Bride at the Bridal Show Trends When Selecting A Wedding Officiant

At a recent bridal show, it was again affirmed that many couples not only pick their Wedding Officiants with reluctance, but they do so in complete ignorance! It seems tragic that something so important as the wedding ceremony is treated so casually. After all, the Wedding Clergy or Marriage Officiator has much control during the ceremony presiding. Once the wedding ceremony begins, they can say or do what they want, within their brand of reason. They can espouse their political, religious or other views. They can cut the ceremony short, make it longer, crack distasteful jokes, insult the cherished ideas of others, or any number of unsatisfactory things. Their words and actions will be in the minds of the wedding guests, the marrying couple's families, and the bride and groom for a potential life time! Shouldn't the memories be pleasant, bringing back fond recollections? There is only the one chance to "get it right"So, why so laid back, or trusting or uninformed about Wedding Officiants?

Show Me Your Officiator Related Academic and Peer Reviewed Accomplishments And Then I Will Decide!

At the bridal shows, marrying couples seemed to be more concerned about price than the service being contracted. Or, just the things that "glitter or taste good". Perhaps its the economy or something more permanent - a shifting in the culture, which devalues the role of Wedding Officiator. Let's face it, the traditionally serious nature of the sacred tradition of the marriage ceremony has eroded in the last few decades. - "Let's just get this over with, and then get to the party!" is often the mantra!  But, what about considering the older generations attending or the children? And, in actual fact, what about appealing to self-interest, as what couple really wants their ceremony to offend or to be poorly executed!

So, shouldn't a bride and groom or a referring event professional say to the officiator "Show me your legitimately earned academic degrees and experiential pedigree before we book or recommend you? Did you become a Wedding Clergy, Officiator or Celebrant the legitimate way? Like when selecting other wedding professionals, should not informed research be incorporated into the decision making process? What about professional references? Will the prospective Wedding Officiant provide a "real" contract with specific services outlined? Will the Wedding Officiator guarantee qualified emergency backup in the event of their illness? Will the contracted Marriage Minister be the one actually presiding on the wedding day? As to their personal appearance, will the Wedding Officiant wear what the couple requests? Will the Marriage Celebrant provide and then stick to the ceremony wording chosen by the marrying couple? Will the presiding officiator file the marriage license in a proper and timely manner? What is the Wedding Officiator's history in any regard? Is the referring event professional receiving a "Kick- Back" from the officiator or advertising in their Wedding Venue publication. There are so many things to know about selecting a Wedding Officiant and Terry did not know them!

With the rise of Wedding Officiant "fakes", it is even more of a problem than before! Concerned only about money or promoting their personal views or stroking their ego, illegitimate Wedding Officiants are duping brides and grooms in the Southern California area. There were three cases alone in the last few years surrounding "On-line Ordained Officiators" disappearing  with couples deposits or not filing over 100 marriages licenses before disappearing. Some might say, "Well the couple gets what they deserve. After all they should have done their research!". Whatever your opinion, it is our mission, here at The Clergy Network of Southern California, as genuine Wedding Officiants, to say a few words about the subject. Our hope is that there will be less "Terrys'" out there, and more couples with great wedding ceremony memories!

What Else Really Happened To Terry The Bride During Her Marriage Ceremony?

The only recourse that Terry might have was through a court of law. After all, as poorly a job the officiator did, he still showed up! She had no contract stating expectations. The officiator offered no assurance of the ceremony wording content. His poor taste in jokes were never agreed to or not. His lack of contact with the couple, loosely securing his service via telephone and e-mail, led to his unfamiliarity with the couple's first and last names. As wrong as the officiator was about his behaviour during the wedding ceremony, Terry was still legally married! Terry opted for the officiator's "legal right to bind the marriage", and nothing more. Terry got that for which she paid, and, as a result, did she pay!

So, what else did the marriage officiator do to ruin Terry's wedding day? Well a number of things! Apart from the bad jokes, poor delivery of the text, getting the couple's respective first names wrong, etc, another of the most troubling was Terry's having to publicly correct this Southern California Wedding Officiator numerous times during the ceremony! From the beginning, when the Wedding Officiant asked, "Who gives this woman to be married to this man?", Terry had to give commentary. Her shouted response to the Wedding Officiant's goofs, "Mom, I didn't tell him to say that!" It got worse from there. Choose your Wedding Officiant wisely!

Celebrity Wedding Officiator - Dr. Linda Looks At The Alta Vista Country Club Wedding Ceremony Location

Alta Vista C.C. Wedding Ceremony Area

What Do We Know About Your
Wedding Ceremony Location?

The Clergy Network of Southern California & LegallyMarried are Marriage Clergy and Wedding Officiants who have presided wedding ceremonies at hundreds, if not thousands of wedding locations and venues in Southern California.  If you are considering Alta Vista Country Club for your ceremony location, here is an observation from a wedding officiator who has conducted wedding ceremonies there!  We also offer a private consultation at Alta Vista C.C. to discuss the ceremony area from the viewpoint of a wedding officiator. To book a Alta Vista Wedding Ceremony Officiator consultation at: info@theclergynetwork.com

The Alta Vista Country Club - Wedding Ceremony & Banquet Venue

An Orange County Outdoor Wedding Ceremony Location

Getting married at the Alta Vista Country Club in Placentia, Ca.?  Here is one of the attributes of this outdoor wedding ceremony location. The Clergy Network of Southern California, and Dr. Linda (A Celebrity Wedding Officiator ) are on the "Preferred Vendor List" of your Alta Vista Wedding Location. We will feature other points, in a continuing series.

Celebrity Wedding Officiator, most recently, for The Reality Show, “The Real Housewives of Orange County Wedding of Tamra and Eddie”, (Bravo T.V in the Fall)

Dr. Linda Wainwright Trott says, “The Alta Vista Country Club wedding ceremony area is private, and consistently well manicured.”

Conclusion:  When a Wedding Officiator presides marriage ceremonies at any location, over time, they are a great judge of the venues upkeep.  Also, about other things. Especially in regards to an outdoor wedding ceremony location, where so many things can effect the pristine nature of the surroundings.
  • Are the grounds always or usually maintained well?
  • What can every bride and groom booking an outdoor wedding venue expect as to event staffs professionalism, and the aesthetics of the ceremony grounds?

Dr. Linda's statement above indicates a Wedding Officiator's observation over a period of time. Frequenting a wedding ceremony location as a Wedding Officiator is much like working in a restaurant kitchen and knowing what really goes on behind the scenes daily. The restaurant customer doesn't have that same view.  So, although a seemingly simple observation above, it is profound  for a bride and groom wishing to book an outdoor wedding location. Every marrying couple will want the ceremony area to look the best for their wedding day. Here consistency, and a wedding professional's observation is helpful.

Wedding Ceremony GPS Required......

 The Wedding Ceremony Temperament Series

By Dr. Linda Wainwright Trott
(Celebrity Wedding Officiator)

Identifying The Faux From The Genuine

“Say What?”

At a recent wedding professionals’ event, several Event Planners joked about one of the local Wedding Officiators attending that night. “He’s such a fake”, was one of the assessments. Not to mention braggart, and a few other choice descriptions. They weren’t fooled, and they did not recommend that person’s services.   Also, at the same party, several other Wedding Planners were chatting about their mutual removal of a few local Wedding Officiators from their respective Wedding Venue referral lists.

But, You Are A Bride – How Are You Supposed To Know
Who Is The Genuine Article?

For the marrying couple, how do they navigate the crowd of novice or illegitimate “Wedding Officiators”?  Frankly, this is a chore that they should not need to engage. Oh, for the good ole days, when this title and the role were admired, and the aspiring officiator had to pay their dues.  There were real societal expectations, including stringent given training requirements. But, with the Internet, anyone, and I mean anyone can become an officiator.  Thus the beginning of this series on, “Wedding Ceremony GPS Required”.  I can do this because, I am a genuine career Wedding Officiator with multiple academic degrees, a professor of officiators, and probably the most experienced in the Southern California area. There is nothing “faux” about the years, effort and money invested in my officiator education!

A Good Information Series, like this one,
 A Wedding Ceremony GPS

There is a lot to talk about, so more series articles to come.  Not in any particular order, this is just one of the things a bride should rally around when starting the officiator selection process.

Let’s Start You Off In The Right Direction –
Turning on The Wedding Ceremony GPS

1.  Be concerned if a prospective Wedding Officiator is not asking you to explain your vision of your wedding ceremony.  He or She should be asking you to define the words and ideas being stated.

For Example:

“I am Spiritual” said the bride to the Wedding Officiator.”

As a University trained Wedding Officiator, I should be thinking….. O.K., really, what does it mean to her to be spiritual?  If the officiator doesn’t ask for “spiritual” to be explained, or perhaps, define it, it means they are disinterested.  Or, that they simply don’t care. Or, they think they know what you mean.  Or, they just don’t want to spend the time crafting ceremony wording which has the couple’s “personal meaning” in mind.  “Spiritual” is not a simple thing, and it needs to be parsed.

Conclusion:   As a Professional Wedding Officiator, I ask the bride and groom to define words and ideas.  Before, they have even booked my services, I see the “persons”, not the “dollar signs”.  Asking for explanations, it is how I navigate what to suggest.  It is how I prove my interest in them.  It is how I show them that I am skilled in what they need.

Orange County & Los Angeles County Wedding Officiants - Super Prepared, Has A 62 Page Pre-Ceremony & Wedding Ceremony Day Checklist!

March 17, 2011 - Dale Carnagie said, "Only the prepared speaker deserves to be confident."  How much more true is this when a Wedding Officiant. If you think this is not true, as a Wedding Officiant make a mistake during the presiding of the wedding ceremony!  There will be some "explaining to do!" Moreover, at any point, during the wedding ceremony planning, the smallest detail left untidy can send many a bride reeling! How much more so, on the wedding day! Yet, with the "fake" Wedding Officiant trend, few understand the importance of preparing for the profession. It is almost as if wedding professionals and marrying couples think that all one has to do is "just stand up there and talk!" This is an unfortunate myth, and a dangerous one at that! It implies lack of understanding as to what goes into being a bona fide Wedding Officiant!

At The Clergy Network - Orange County & Los Angeles Wedding Officiants - our pre-ceremony & ceremony day checklist is about 62 pages - We know Dale Carnagie would be proud!

Los Angeles Justice of The Peace - Civil Marriage Ceremony At Your Wedding Location

If it is a civil ceremony that you are wanting, a Justice of The Peace is often traditionally considered the official with legal authority to preside a non- religious ceremony. In the county or city of Los Angeles, as in the state of California, there is no Justice of the Peace system. However, the Non-denominational Clergy or Wedding Officiant is akin to Justice of the Peace in other states, and does preside Civil Marriage Ceremonies. In some cases, may even be able to provide your California Confidential Marriage License.

Like a Justice of The Peace, Non-denominational Wedding Officiators, perform marriages during the weekday, weeknight or weekends. They will travel to the bride and groom or the couple may meet them at a park, beach or other location to solemnize the marriage. Like a Justice of the Peace, a Non-denominational Wedding Officiator will preside a wedding for two,  or for the couple with wedding guests attending the ceremony. From the hospital wedding to the hotel garden gazebo marriage ceremony, a Non-denominational Wedding Officiant legally certifies the marriage and files the marriage license with the Los Angeles County Clerk or the county in which the California Marriage license was issued – similar to the tasks associated with the Justice of The Peace in other states.

How Do I Find a Non-Denominational Wedding Officiant or Wedding Clergy?

At www.legallymarried.com  – The Clergy Network of Southern California has a membership of civil marriage ceremony officiators which travel to south land locations for the purpose of presiding marriage ceremonies. Los Angeles Wedding Officiants - The 2011 Wedding Ceremony - Fake Wedding Officiator Watch

How Not To Pick A Fake
Wedding Officiator In Los Angeles
January 21, 2011 - The "Dark Side" of The Wedding Internet - Since the advent of the Internet, wedding professionals, as well as brides and grooms have benefited from the easy and quick access to important wedding planning information...... Yet, there is a "Dark Side" - if its phony or illegitimate, its represented in Los Angeles cyberspace!

Avoiding the "Dark Side" of Wedding Officiator Internet Selection - How Do I Find A Legitimate Los Angeles Wedding Officiator ? - The Challenges of Picking A Competent Wedding Officiator In Los Angeles, California

Some Tell Tale Signs of "fake" Wedding Officiators

Due to economy and other reasons, anyone, and I mean "anyone" can become a Wedding Officiator via the Internet. In our " How To Pick A Wedding Officiant" series we will continue to explore the solution around the pitfalls. To keep this short, the titles, "Doctor or Reverend or Pastor or Wedding Officiant" are being purchased. From their cheesy web sites, to À la carte Officiation Menus, to "Lets Make A Deal" pricing, even to their bizarre clergy names and titles, "fake" Wedding Officiators are a dangerous phenomena. In short, there are Wedding Officiator referral groups  in Los Angeles almost literally picking people off the streets and making them instant Wedding Clergy or Wedding Officiants.

What Do Wedding Professionals Say About "Fake" Wedding Officiators in Los Angeles?

On the inside of the Wedding Industry, from D.J.s to Event Planners, these "fakes"  are given new classifications, after all the credible vendors can't believe what is showing up to preside their clients' ceremonies - From the "Brief Case Wedding Minister" to the "Marrying Fellows or Guys", to the "Disgusting Comic Wedding Guys", to the "From Another Planet Wedding Lady", and so forth. But, the bride and groom don't know what those in the Wedding Industry experience weekly. Brides and Grooms trustingly walk into the "fake" Wedding Officiant arena thinking "all Wedding Officiators are the same!". This false understanding can only lead to "consumer regret" and a lifetime of bad wedding ceremony recollections. More to come on this subject.
